Orthopaedic Cable System

The system contains 1.0 and 1.7mm cable in Stainless Steel and Titanium-Aluminum-Niobium (TAN) and Accessories.

LCP Wire Mount

The Wire Mount for LCP 4.5/5.0 plates facilitates the additional use of cerclage wires in plate fixation of shaft fractures in general, but of periprosthetic fractures in particular. The Wire Mount is inserted in the selected plates hole and guarantees a fixed position of the wires in direct relation to the underlying plate. It is available in Stainless Steel and Titanium.

Cerclage Positioning Pin

Sterile threaded and non-threaded Cerclage Positioning Pins for the Orthopedic Cable System are now available in 3.5 and 4.5 mm sizes, manufactured from titanium and stainless steel.

T15 and T25 Hex Cerclage Buttons

The existing Hex Cerclage Buttons do not fit Stardrive recesses since their pins are larger. Therefore, new T15 and T25 Hex Cerclage Buttons were designed to fit both Stardrive and hex recesses at the same time.
The new T15 Cerclage Button replaces the former 2.5 mm Cerclage Button, the T25 replaces the 3.5 mm Cerclage Button.

Cannulated 4.0?mm Hex Cerclage Cable Buttons

The cannulated 4.0?mm hex cerclage buttons are part of the orthopedic cable system. Cables placed through such buttons can be used for temporary reduction of spiral fractures and for additional fixation when screws are not possible, particularly in treatment of periprosthetic fractures.

Cable buttons help to position the cable over screws and prevent slippage. Currently, cable buttons exist for noncannulated screws. The new cannulated cable buttons fit the recess of 5.0?mm, 6.5?mm and 7.3?mm cannulated screws. The cerclage buttons are available in titanium and stainless steel.

Crimp Positioning Pins

The crimp positioning pins are used in conjunction with the orthopedic cable system. It combines a crimp and positioning pin into one in order to simplify cable procedure and reduce incision size. It is used to maintain the position of the cable relative to the plate. The crimp positioning pin is available in two sizes to fit 5.0 mm or 7.3 mm locking holes.
